I am not Harvard educated like Obama - but it seems to spur the economic growth you need consumers to have more discretionary spending funds. Consumers spend more money - businesses grow and hire more people and then more people have discretionary spending funds. A government can effectively do this by reducing the tax burden, lowering energy costs or lowering health care costs of its citizens. Obama is doing the very opposite! - The Editor
